Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro’s Ambient Sound Mode is Getting More Powerful

Does plugging your headphones in take you to a different world, where you lose touch with reality? Well, the ambient sound feature of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro has got you covered.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro has built-in commands that enable unmatched user experience when the earbuds are connected to a tablet or a phone through the Galaxy Wearable app. Its quick tap feature helps users to play music, answer calls that are incoming on the connected device, skip songs, etc. The IPX7 rating of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro vouches that the earbuds are water-resistant. This means that it can remain immersed in 1-meter water for up to 30 minutes. This makes the device suitable for activities in a variety of environments such as outdoor activities and workouts.

Samsung’s Galaxy Buds 2 Pro earbuds are about to undergo an upgrade that will allow users to enjoy improved ambient audio controls. This is an exciting addition for those who are fond of customization options and are looking forward to better sound amplification. This is also going to be beneficial for those who are hearing impaired.

What is so special about this feature? The ambient sound feature of the Samsung Galaxy 2 Pro earbuds has been a part of it since the inception of the device. The feature allows the users to remain alert and in turn with the surroundings. With the help of ambient sound technology, users can hear the outside noise through the earbuds’ external microphone.

So, what’s new? The new update will allow the provision for enhanced audio control in the form of two extra levels of amplification. As a result, the earbuds now have not three, but five audio levels.

What’s more? Apart from the added amplification levels, the earbuds are also to be embedded with a technology that will allow the users to control the amplification in each of the buds distinctly. This means that users will be able to adjust the sound level of each ear based on their hearing needs. Users can also adjust the tone range from soft to clear based on their preferences.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro is also likely to have an “adapt ambient sound” mode, with the help of which users will be able to enjoy an optimized listening experience by adjusting the music to the sound of the surroundings. These upgrades are also excellent for those who suffer from mild-to-moderate hearing disabilities as they perceive speech and reciprocate better.

This feature is likely to roll out in the coming few weeks. Once made available, users will be able to look for it in the “laboratory” section of the Galaxy Wearable app.
