How to Create a Collage in Google Photos: Easy & Quick Way

Last Updated February 11, 2019 By Subhash D Leave a Comment

Who does not like to share or post their favorite pictures on various forms of media? It becomes a very tedious task to load a number of images (a few at a time) related to a particular event.

Another way to put up these images is to club some of them as one image and then post them. One solution for this is to make different collages of the pictures you want to share with others.

Collage is a great way to show multiple images in a single go. It helps us club some images into a single image. This saves time and you are able to have a view of multiple images without having to flip through them one by one.

Many different options are available before you in order to make a collage. One of the best ways that I have tried for myself too is using Google Photos. In this article, I have described how you can make use of Google Photos to make a collage.

Using Google Photos to make a Collage

Google Photos is one of the finest ways of storing and sharing photos. Google Photos also allows you to edit the photos before posting or sharing them. It also helps you make attractive collages in very little time.

You can use Google Photos on the web as well as download a Google Photos app for the same. Here is an easy how-to for making collages in Google Photos using the web as well as through its app.

Making a collage using Google Photos on Web

If you are accessing Google Photos using your web browser and you want to make a collage you need to follow the following steps:

  • Open Google Photos in your web browser.
  • If you do not have photos uploaded in Google Photos then upload the pictures with which you want to make the collage. On the other hand, if you already have your pictures uploaded here then go to the next step.
  • Look for the create option located near the search bar and click on it.

  • After the desired pictures are selected, click on create.

  • Once you have finished editing, click on the Done Button to save the change.

Note: Google Photos does not give you a choice of the layouts of the collage. Nor does it let you arrange, crop or adjust the images in any particular order. It puts the images in the collage automatically.

Making a collage using the Google Photos app

Making a collage using the Google Photos app is quite similar to the way we make it using the web. For this, follow the following steps:

  • Open the Google Photos app.
