About NFT
NFT stands for the non-fungible token, which further breaks down into two parts. The first part, tokens, implies crypto, a segment in the entire blockchain network. A token can essentially be used to transfer value in the form of Bitcoins. Tokens are essentially fungible, meaning that users are allowed to trade in Bitcoin for someone else’s Bitcoin with no change or reduction in value. Non-fungible tokens are digital tokens used to make purchases, trade purposes, sell, or collect NFTs within the NFT marketplace.
Also, the procedure to mint the first NFT is very simple. All users must do is create their own NFT, following all the guidelines mentioned. Then one has to click on the ‘Add’ option to add the NFT from the collection provided. Then the user has to upload an NFT with their respective name and fill in the other attributes required like the levels, properties, etc.

After Samsung had declared that they would be bringing NFTs to their smart TVs, LG is walking down the same road. LG has come up with LG Art Lab, which allows users to buy, sell, and enjoy exquisite NFT artwork.
Currently, only LG TV users from the US with webOS 5.0 can use the application, which is available to be downloaded from the TV’s home screen. Currently, the application is pretty empty, and no NFTs are available. So for users who have downloaded the application, there won’t be much available to be browsed. However, after the NFTs are added, users would then be able to purchase from the platform. As claimed by LG, after the NFTs are added, users will be able to scan the QR code present on the screen and will be able to access the Wallypto application for the completion of the transaction. But before making an actual transaction, you would first have to purchase USD Coins, a stablecoin that users can peg to the US dollar.
Being constructed on the platform Hedera, LG’s NFT platform claims itself to be the most sustainable enterprise. Hedera does not work on the blockchain, so it uses the alternative, which is the hash graph. LG is among the various companies that act as the pivotal governing body of the Hedera Network. LG has also promised to go on adding NFTs from different artists every month. This would enable users to browse through a list of NFTs and purchase the ones they like from the LG Art Lab.
