The much-awaited time has finally come! At Samsung Unpacked 2024, the company formally announced the Galaxy S24 series, their newest range of smartphones. The portfolio includes the S24, S24+, and the highest-end S24 Ultra, as anticipated. What really astounds the users, nevertheless, are the astounding features included in these gadgets. Let’s examine the S24 Ultra, the flagship model, in more depth. This smartphone is a real powerhouse, with an enormous 6.8-inch QHD+ display with Dynamic AMOLED 2X technology, a quick refresh rate of 120Hz, and an amazing array of five cameras. A 12 MP ultra-wide lens, an amazing 200 MP wide lens, a 50 MP telephoto lens, a 10 MP telephoto lens, and a 12 MP front camera make up the camera configuration, which offers the best photographic experience.

Powering the S24 Ultra is the formidable Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform, accompanied by a robust 12GB of RAM. Storage options extend up to a whopping 1TB, providing ample space for your digital needs. The device is equipped with a substantial 5,000 mAh battery, capable of achieving a remarkable 65 percent charge in just around 30 minutes when utilizing the separately sold 45W charging adapter. Running on the cutting-edge Android 14 and One UI 6.1 interface, the S24 Ultra boasts connectivity features such as 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth v5.3, as well as Wi-Fi Direct.

While the S24 and S24+ may not match the S24 Ultra’s extravagance, they still offer commendable capabilities. The S24 features a 6.2-inch FHD display, while the S24+ boasts a 6.7-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2x Display, both supporting a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform, these models come equipped with four cameras: a 12 MP ultra-wide lens, a 50 MP wide lens, a 10 MP telephoto lens, and a 12 MP front camera, ensuring a reliable and versatile photography experience.

Whereas the S24+ has the same storage capacity but a more substantial 12GB of RAM, the Galaxy S24 has 8GB of memory and possibilities for up to 256GB of storage. With its 4,000 mAh battery, the S24 can be charged to 50% capacity in around half an hour. However, both models require the optional fast charger to achieve these remarkable charging speeds. The S24+, on the other hand, has a 4,900 mAh battery that offers a quick 65 percent charge in the same amount of time.

Both smartphones use Samsung’s cutting-edge Galaxy AI and run the most recent versions of the Android and One UI operating systems. They do support 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, and Wi-Fi Direct Bluetooth v5.3, but not Wi-Fi 7. Interestingly, Samsung’s new 7-year plan, which guarantees operating system and security upgrades for a longer length of time and increases device durability, applies to the whole Galaxy S24 series.

Preorders for the latest Galaxy S24 devices are currently available, featuring a starting price of $549 for the Galaxy S24 Ultra and $349 for both the Galaxy S24 and S24+. These prices are applicable “with an eligible trade-in.” For those without a trade-in, the Galaxy S24 is priced at $799, the S24+ at $999, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra starts at $1,299. Shipping for these devices is set to commence on January 31. Secure your order now to be among the first to experience the cutting-edge features of the new Galaxy S24 series.
