How to add picture password in windows 10 [Steps with Pictures]

Last Updated July 9, 2017 By Subhash D Leave a Comment

Among the various options to login to windows 10, picture password is an easy way to login if you add it correctly. You can add a picture password to both your local account as well as Microsoft account. As far as the security is concerned, picture password is as secure as a fingerprint password. Read along to go through all the steps.

What is Picture password

Picture Password was first introduced in windows 8 version and is available in windows 10 for a secure login. Picture password allows you to draw lines, shapes or a combination of both on the picture you have selected during setup. These gestures contribute to a picture password.  Rather than typing a password, picture password provides a login in a fun way and is more convenient option on touchscreens.

Here are How-to Steps

Step-1. The first step is to open settings (Windows + I) and then click Accounts.

Step-7. Once you have completed the previous step, you will need to re-draw the gestures the same way you did before just to reconfirm the directions or shapes. You can start over in case it is not matching the previous gestures.
