With a focus on more interactive apps and features that offer a human touch, technology is being humanized.  Apple being an all-time forerunner provides the edge-of-tomorrow gadgets and the matching updated iOS. Among many features of iOS, Siri is implemented as a voice based Personal Digital Assistant that can be talked to and instructed to do certain basic things in iOS. It is updated in the latest iOS 11. Yes, all those things that you may tend to forget. You know those important, but routine things that you must not spend efforts and energy on to remember. Also, you can have a really serious conversation with your Apple gadget if you want to!

Recently Apple has announced its latest iOS 11 that is slotted to be released in September this year with hottest than ever iPhone models. It has raised huge expectations among the die-hard users of Apple phones, tabs, and laptops. So, here is a brief look at what is in store for you.

Siri enhancements in iOS 11

Till now with Siri on your iOS based Apple gadgets you could instruct it to send a message with an apt emoticon, a note to your subordinate, a query to your friend, wake you up for an early morning flight, remind your anniversary or simply to take your pet for a stroll. As expected with iOS 11, Siri will get better with the addition of more relevant features. It will make it more widely accepted and used the feature in any Apple gadget.

In the series of changes in Siri, Apple brings forth a new voice that neutralizes the gender tinge making it easier for Siri to understand and follow your voice instructions. So, for Siri, spoken instructions will become clearer and better.

The next feature to be updated in Siri makes it more intelligent in the context of searches and browsing you have done previously. This is called ‘On-Device learning’ wherein the device will display predictive notifications and ask questions closer to the perspective of your previous queries.  With this, the context sensitivity is enhanced a notch higher. You will have quick, intelligent and contextual information whenever you need it the most. The best part is that you will be able to have this flexibility on all your synched gadgets.

If you frequent various countries in the world as a professional or a habitual traveler, you will love Siri more than ever. You don’t have to memorize and fumble the common local sentences or phrases. You can speak in your native language and Siri will convert your words into sentences of the local language spoken in the country. You will not miss the intent. Through Siri, iOS 11 provides a French, Chinese, Spanish and Italian translation of English sentences. Now you can relax and enjoy in any corner of the globe without fear of being misinterpreted.

With Siri, programmers and developers can expect a lot more support that will be very helpful to develop better and secure apps for iOS gadgets.

Safer gadget while driving

A serious consideration is needed to evaluate the value of a human life especially when the dependence on the gadget is growing alarmingly. People who use devices while driving are prone to accidents and mishaps. Apple in its newest release iOS 11 will provide the ‘Do Not Disturb While Driving’ feature. It may look very trivial but its benefits will be immensely evident in near future.

When you set this feature on while driving, the device screen will go blank and you will not be disturbed by any notifications or reminders. Anyone calling you will be able to get a message that you are driving and they will not call further. So, this will eliminate a major source of distractions to the driver. You can reach safely to your destination. If you want some people to stay in contact even while driving like your boss, your school going kid, or elderly parent, you can omit them from this feature.
