Google Chrome Introduces 3 Innovative Experimental Features Powered by Generative AI

Google has released three new experimental generative AI features for the Chrome browser. You may now use them to personalize your themes, arrange your tabs and of course, get support for your online writing.

You only need to click a few buttons to activate these capabilities in the latest version of Chrome, M121. Simply choose Settings from the three dots menu located at the top right corner of your browser, go to Experimental AI, and then turn on the new features. For the time being, however, they are not available for corporate or educational accounts. The option should be available on Windows and Mac computers “over the next couple of days,” as said in a statement by Parisa Tabriz, vice president of Chrome.

Yes, you’ve been using Tab Groups to arrange your tabs for a long but creating them may be a pain. Chrome may now automatically recommend and build tab groups for you according to the tabs you currently have open if you have enabled Tab Organizer. Click the menu icon to the left of each tab in Chrome to initiate this action. Alternatively, right-click on any active tab and select ‘Organize Similar Tabs‘. To name each group for future convenience, the browser will offer suggestions for names—or even adorable tiny emojis.

If you’re a fan of the AI-generated wallpapers on Pixel 8 phones and Android 14, you’ll adore Chrome’s new text-to-image feature. “Depending on the subject, visual style, mood, and color which you select,” create your themes. Navigate to the Customize Chrome panel and choose “Create with AI” and “Change Theme.” There are lots of moods and styles to pick from, so there’s no need to urge them with texts. Before you begin developing your Themes, Google even offers a selection of the team’s top AI-generated themes for you to browse.

Lastly, you may write anything on the web using Chrome, including reviews, RSVPs, and questions about products on the marketplace. When enabled, the feature will allow users to right-click any field or text box in Chrome and select ‘Help me write.’ It will launch next month. straightforward and uncomplicated. Who knows how excellent the final text will turn out, but it will probably be a fine place to start, nevertheless.
