There is no denying the fact that latest Android phones are coming with excellent technology but there are times when the operating system of Android phones is not working when a new update comes or it becomes unstable when you recently installed a new application. The best way to solve this problem is to restart your Android phone in a safe mode.
When you restart your phone in safe mode, you can easily analyse the cause of the problem because in safe mode, your phone will only use some crucial applications and you can remove that application or stop an un-necessary update which, according to you, is causing a problem to your phone. It is astonishing to know that apart from computers, you can use safe mode in android phones well. Follow the steps below to turn on the safe mode.
How to start your phone in Safe Mode:
- You just have to press the power button and hold it until you see the “power off” option in front of you.
- Once the “power off” option comes, just tap and hold that option till the time it is turned off. In this way, your android phone will restart with safe mode enabled.

- When your phone is not working properly or it is working slowly, you can use the phone in safe mode which is very convenient as you don’t have to do a factory reset. You just have to turn the safe mode on and you are good to go.

Once you are done removing the unwanted applications, you just have to turn off your mobile phone and start it again by pressing and holding the power button. This way, you will again enter into the mode where you can customize your phone in your way and install third-party apps.
There is only one drawback of using the safe mode that when you are in normal mode after using the safe mode, you have to sign in to all the applications again like Facebook, Instagram and all the other Google applications. So it is better to write down all the usernames and passwords if you are weak in remembering the passwords.
We cannot say that the android operating system is excellent in every way because when we are talking about iOS, it is having the best operating system till date. Android allows you to customize the phone in your way and install third-party applications as well but in case of iOS, you have to jailbreak the iPhone first, only then you can customize it and it is not primarily permissible by the Apple Company.
